Membership policy

1. Membership requirements

The membership is personal and will be registered on your email address when you sign up on our website or in one of our physical stores. You must be at least 16 years old. The membership is free of charge.

The membership provider is the Swedish company Acne Studios AB, with registration number 556504-7726.

2. Membership services and advantages

When you have signed up to become a member, you will receive the following services.

Invitations to special events/promotions: You will receive information regarding our special events and promotions, via email, your social media account or other messenger services.

Personalized service:We may provide you with customized services in store based on your earlier purchases with us, and information regarding your clothing/shopping preferences that you have voluntarily shared with our staff. We aim to provide this service in all countries where we have our own stores, including but not limited to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Australia, the United States, Japan and South Korea.

Profiled marketing: We may provide you with profiled marketing offers based on your earlier purchases with us, and information regarding your clothing/shopping preferences that you have voluntarily shared with our staff.

Purchase overview:You will be able to log into your account and review your previous purchases with us. When shopping in our physical stores or online, the purchases will be registered in your name. Please note that you may be required to show your ID in order to register a purchase in one of our physical stores. When you shop online, the purchase will be registered if you have made the purchase through your account.

E-receipt: You will be able to request a digital receipt when purchasing our products in one of our physical stores and receive all your receipts by email.
 

3. Processing of personal data

Acne Studios will process your personal data and share your personal data with Acne Studios’ affiliates and third parties in order to provide you with the membership services in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which you will find here.
By signing up to become a member, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Acne Studios’ Privacy Policy.

4. Unsubscribe from send-outs

If you do not wish to receive our send-outs, you can always log in to your account to unsubscribe, or follow the unsubscribe link in the email footer.

5. Management of Personal Account

Acne Studios shall have the title to the personal account and the customer who register the personal account shall have the right to use and manage it without any charge of fee. The username and password of the personal account are at your decision. Please keep your Username/Password secure and confidential at all times.
Both Acne Studios and you have the responsibilities to maintain the security of the personal account. Acne Studios will take necessary technical measures to maintain the security of the server operating your personal account. You are required to take active measures to maintain the security of your personal account, including but not limited to, keeping your username and password secure and confidential at all times, installing antivirus software and updating the password at a set frequency as you see fit. After you finish using your personal account, you always endeavor to log out without undue delay by clicking “Log Out” on the Website. You shall be liable for pilfering account, loss of password or leakiness of personal data due to your own actions and/or inactions. You understand and agree that before your notification to Acne Studios of pilfering account or leakiness of personal data and providing any related proof, Acne Studios has the reasons to believe that the use of the personal account is your act. If you suspect of any use of your personal account or password by others, you agree to notify Acne Studios immediately.

6. Membership validity and termination

Your membership is valid until further notice. However, if you have not made any purchases with us during 36 consecutive months, your membership will be automatically cancelled and your personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You can also cancel your membership at any time by contacting customercare@acnestudios.com.
Acne Studios reserves the right to suspend or cancel your membership at any time if we suspect the membership is being abused, including but not limited to, when the membership is used for non-consumption needs or any illegal purposes, or your act is in breach of this Membership Policy or other policies and terms and conditions on our website, or any laws and regulations, or infringes the rights of any third party.

7. Validity

The membership is valid worldwide in our own physical stores and online. The membership is not valid in our franchise stores which we currently have in Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Amsterdam. The membership is neither valid in our Department Stores, which we currently have at Åhléns City Stockholm, Nordiska Kompaniet Stockholm, Galeries Lafayette Paris and Harrods London.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Settlement

This Membership Policy is governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes pertaining to this Membership Policy shall be exclusively referred to and finally resolved by the district court of Stockholm, as the court of first instance.

9. Changes in the terms and conditions

Acne Studios reserves the rights to amend these terms and conditions. We will notify you in advance of any changes.
