The following terms of use (henceforth: the terms of use”) are valid between you and Acne Limited] (henceforth: Acne Studios; may be referred to as “us” and “us”). We are a limited company registered in England with registered company number GB104525451 and with our registered address at St. James House, 13 Kensington Square, London, W8 5HD. These terms of use apply to all use of, and orders placed on www.acnestudios.com, and orders made by telephone [, e-mail or by live chat] with Acne Studio’s Customer Service team (henceforth together: the “Website”).
Please note that Acne Studios does not guarantee that all products presented on the Website are in stock or are available for purchase. Acne Studios reserves its right to stop selling a product. Orders can only be placed by persons that are 18 years or older.
Acne Studios products are intended for personal use only. Purchasing with the intention to resell is not permitted. Customers are restricted in the quantity and price of items they may purchase per order.
A limit is applied to the number of identical items purchased, no more than 2 of the same product in the same colourway and no more than 3 of the same product in different colourways per purchase.
Any orders suspected of being placed with the intent to resell will be subject to review. Acne Studios reserves the right to monitor customer purchase patterns to identify resellers or professional buyers. Orders flagged as exceeding the purchase limit or indicative of reselling activity may be cancelled.
Customers flagged under this policy will not be eligible for any form of compensation related to their reselling activities.
Acne Studios reserves the right to revise the Terms of use at any time. The latest update of the Terms of use of Acne Studios was made in September 2025. Users are responsible for keeping themselves updated with such changes. Please note that the terms of use valid for your order is always the terms of use that is in effect as of the time that you place your order and not a later version. You should keep a copy of these Terms of use for future reference.
The language of the Terms of use is English.
When you place an order on acnestudios.com, you can choose to create an account or check out as a guest. If you chose to create an account, we will only store the information that you provide to your order such as shipping and billing address as well as email address. When creating the account, you will be able to choose a password with which you can log in and view your order history and track your order. You can also register returns once logged in. If you do not create an account and instead check out as a guest, you can still track your order using the tracking number provided in the shipping confirmation email.
If you would like to delete an Account, you can contact clientservices@acnestudios.com and the Client Services team will assist you. If you create an account with us, you can choose to save your address and your credit card details for future purchases. All information regarding your saved address and credit card can be changed and deleted when logging in to your Account.
Your details will be protected using Global Sign Encryption and will speed up your checkout the next time you shop.
By using the Website and/or placing an order on the Website you confirm that you have read the Terms of use and the Privacy Policy, and that you accept them. Please make sure that you have read and understood the Terms of use before you place an order. Before you place your order, you will be given the opportunity to review your selections, the information you have provided, the total price of your order and correct any input errors. Please note that products in your shopping bag are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until you have placed the order at checkout and received the order confirmation email. If prolonged inactivity causes your connection to the Website to fail, your selection of products may be lost. We offer different shipping methods to meet your needs as further specified when you check out. Dispatch of orders may take up to 5 business days, but we aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 business days during weekdays, 2-3 business days during sales periods. Please note that delivery times are provided as guidelines only and commence from the date of dispatch. Please also note that delivery times might increase during sale period and/or due to cause related to force majeure. The delivery times do not consider possible delays caused by payment authorization and/or stock availability. Delivery times for personalised products can vary.
Complimentary express shipping on all orders. Please note that free shipping will be applied to your order at checkout.
Your order will be delivered by UPS to the shipping address you have indicated.
All orders are fully traceable on the website by logging in to your Account. Click on your order and on the 'Track' button to view updated information on your shipment. For orders you have chosen to collect in-store, tracking information will not be displayed – please wait for an email notification stating that your item is ready to be picked up. If a parcel is marked as successfully delivered by the carrier and the fulfillment center has confirmed that all items were correctly packed and included, Acne Studios will not be held liable for any missing contents. In such cases, the responsibility for the parcel passes to the recipient upon confirmed delivery.
For security purposes, Acne Studios reserves the right to ship first-time orders to the cardholder's verified billing address or work address. To avoid delays in receiving your order, please make sure to provide the correct billing and shipping information associated with your credit/debit card when placing an order.
You are entitled to change your mind and cancel your order or exchange your product by submitting or sending a notice to Acne Studios within 14 days of the date on which you have received the product. The notice may be sent in different ways, by e-mail to clientservices@acnestudios.com or by using our Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) system on the website. To register your return via our RMA system, please use our 'Register a return' function on the website. Alternatively, you may use the cancellation form provided at the end of these terms and return the product to us at Acne Studios, Floragatan 13, 11431, Stockholm, Sweden.

If you choose to withdraw your purchase in accordance with the terms set forth, Acne Studios will issue a refund of the amount paid to Acne Studios including the shipping cost you have paid for the delivery from Acne Studios to you. However, if Express shipping has been used, Acne Studios will not issue a refund of the original shipping fee. Acne Studios will pay the refund within 14 days of the date on which we have received your notice of withdrawal, under the condition that Acne has received the product/s from you or if Acne Studios has obtained proof that the products have been sent back to Acne Studios. The refund is made using the same payment method you used at the purchase if you do not explicitly accept another method. You will not be charged extra if another payment method is used.
Please note that Acne Studios only issues a full refund if the product(s) are in the same conditions as at the time of delivery. If the products’ value has diminished due to your handling of the products to a greater extent than it is necessary to ascertain its characteristics or function, you have an obligation to reimburse us. Thus, Acne Studios then has the right to withhold such amount of the refund. To avoid a deduction, please make sure the product you wish to refund is in the exact same condition as when you received it, with tag and seal still attached. All shoes must not be used at all or on a carpeted surface until you have decided to keep them. Shoes and accessories that come in a special box must be returned in their undamaged original box which is a part of the product.
Purchased products are exchangeable into a different size and color. All exchanges are based on stock availability. If you have exchanged a product, Acne Studios will pay the shipping costs for the new product. Please note that sale products are non-exchangeable but can be returned with a full refund. Please note that if you wish to exchange a product for a new product and/or size and the order has been placed with Klarna simply return your product and place a new order with your preferred payment method. If the complete order is returned, your Klarna invoice will be cancelled. However, if you have made a partial return, a new updated invoice will be sent to you by e-mail. The new order is paid for separately and will be handled as a new order. Please note that when you initiate an exchange, we are unable to hold the item for you. If the item becomes out of stock during the exchange process, your order may be canceled. If the item is no longer available, you will receive a cancellation email.
Acne Studios offers a free return service and will pay the shipping cost for returning the products sent from the United Kingdom in accordance with your right of cancellation (and if you choose to exchange your product). We do not assume any responsibility for goods returned using methods other than the recommended return services. Upon exercising your cancellation right or right to exchange, please return the product/s as soon as reasonably practicable but no later than 14 days after sending your notice.
If your order relates to product/s that haven’t been delivered, Acne Studios will refund you as soon as possible and within 14 days of you telling us you’ve changed your mind. If your order relates to products that you’re sending back to us, Acne Studios will refund you within 14 days of receiving them back from you or, if earlier, 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the products to us. Acne Studios will refund you by the same method you used for payment.
Subject to certain deductions, as explained further below, if you cancel your order, Acne Studios will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (except for supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
If you handle the product/s in a way which would not be acceptable in-store, Acne Studios will reduce your refund to compensate us for its reduced value. For example, Acne Studios will reduce your refund if the product’s condition is not “as new”, price tags have been removed, the product-branded packaging is damaged, or accessories are missing. In some cases, because of the way you have treated the product, no refund may be due.
Our return policy aims to provide our clients with a convenient shopping experience. Clients who may experience sizing issues or consistently find merchandise to be unsatisfactory are encouraged to contact our Client Services team. In the case of our return policy being abused, we reserve the right to take action in the form of blocking an account and/or cancelling an order. Acne Studios reserves the right to reject returns which do not comply with our Return Policy. Rejected returns will be sent back to the original shipping address.
Acne Studios goal is to describe the products at the Website as correctly as possible. However, please note that due to the color settings of your computer, the colors of the products shown in the pictures on the Website can differ somewhat from their actual colors. Acne Studios cannot be held responsible for any such discrepancy.
Personalised products cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. Similarly, the customer does not have the right to cancel the order. Once the order has been sent by the customer and confirmed by Acne Studios, the customer will be informed via an order confirmation email. Once the order is processed and accepted, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation email. Personalised items may be delivered in a time slot indicated on the site which may be longer than regular delivery slots.
Acne Studios acts in accordance with applicable consumer regulations. Please notify us as soon as possible after receiving defective products.
The prices and delivery costs shown on the Website include VAT. The prices and delivery costs shown on the Website may vary from time to time and Acne Studios is not bound by the price until Acne Studios has accepted the order by sending the shipping confirmation to you. The prices may also vary between the physical store and the Website. Acne Studios always reserves the right to cancel any order prior to our acceptance of the order. If we already have received payment for a cancelled order, we will refund you the amount of the purchase. Please also note the Acne Studios may cancel the order even if it has been accepted by Acne Studios under the condition that you realize or should have realized that the price information was incorrect. The delivery costs are shown in connection with the shipping methods at the checkout stage.
We accept payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express) or other payment methods as they become available by notice on our website. We will place the details of other payment methods in our check out page, as they become available.
When placing an order using a gift card as payment, the order can only be shipped to the same country where the gift card was issued. Acne Studios cannot change the currency of the gift card, as it is always country-specific. Gift cards purchased online can be used in-store, and gift cards purchased in-store can be used online. Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase and cannot be extended or returned. A maximum of three gift cards can be used at checkout. When a purchase is made using a gift card and the order is cancelled, the amount will be reissued to the same gift card used for the original payment. If the order is returned, a new gift card will be issued with the same validation period as the original. You can find the new gift card code in the return confirmation email.

Acne Studios shall deliver a product free of hidden defects which would render it unfit for its intended use, or which so diminish such use.
We commit to (i) noncompliance defects of the products we sell and (ii) guarantee against hidden defects when the product has a hidden defect, meaning it was not apparent at the time of sale, which renders the product unfit for its intended use or diminish such use.
Acne Studios ensures 2-year guarantee on all faulty, defective products, including products with hidden defects. A client can submit a quality claim in the case of a product being faulty or damaged, provided that the client has the receipt received with the original purchase. This policy applies to both items purchased by the client and items received as a gift if the gift has been purchased on Acne Studios official website or in any official Acne Studios store.
When submitting a claim, clients will be requested to provide a valid proof of purchase. This applies with no exception to all claims and is applicable to products which have been received by the client as a gift.
When a product is returned due to a quality claim, Acne Studios will examine the product and provide the client with an assessment. Acne Studios reserves the right to decline quality claims in the case of the product being returned not faulty nor damaged or in the case of the product not having any quality problem or in the case of the product being damaged due to misuse.
Clients submitting a quality claim will be requested to choose between the following options, should their claim be accepted as a result of a examination of the product:
- Repair of the item.
- Replacement of the item.
Should the above options not be available, the client will be entitled to a full refund on their purchase, should the claim be received within the legal warranty period.
Acne Studios offers to its clients the possibility to alter a product. Alterations are available to Acne Studios clients in all official Acne Studios stores and are free of charge.
Alterations are available for the following product categories:
- Outerwear (winter coats and light jackets)
- Trousers (including denim)
- Dresses
- Suit jackets
If a client wished to discuss an alteration for a product which is not included in the above categories, they shall do so by contacting our Client Services team or visiting an official Acne Studios store.
Any adjustment of the original product design is not considered an alteration and is therefore not included in this service. In the same way, our existing product personalization service is not considered an alteration (i.e. cutting or removal of key parts of the product such as sleeve or leg of trousers).
The timing of alterations may vary depending on the type of alteration requested, the number of items to be altered and the availability of personnel at the time of the request.
Acne Studios offers to its clients the possibility to repair a product. The repair service is available to Acne Studios clients both on our official website and in all official Acne Studios stores.
Repairs are available for the following product categories:
- Outerwear (leather jackets, light jackets, puff jackets, bomber jackets, winter coats)
- Denim (jeans and jackets)
- Dresses
- Blouse
- Suit jackets
- Knitwear
- Bags
- Trousers
- Shoes
If a client wishes to discuss a repair for a product which is not included in the above categories, they shall do so by contacting our Client Services team or visiting an official Acne Studios store.
Repairs are after sale services, available to Acne Studios clients for a charge. For more information on repair charges, please see our repair menu.
The timing of repairs may vary depending on the type of alteration or repair requested, the number of items to be altered or repaired and the availability of repair personnel at the time of the request.
Acne Studios' trademarks include but are not limited to the Acne Studios name and logo, Acne, Acne Jeans, Acne Retail and Acne Paper. Please note that your use of this Website does not grant you any rights to use our trademarks.

We offer exchange or store credit within 14 days, in the same country as the original purchase. Returned products must be unworn and in sellable condition, including original packaging. No return or exchanges on sale items. You must provide the original proof of purchase. Online purchases exchanged in store are final.
