Acne Studios inaugurates Acne Paper Palais Royal, its first permanent gallery space, situated beneath the storied arcades of Paris’s Palais Royal. Marking a significant moment in the brand’s cultural evolution, the gallery extends Acne Studios’ ongoing dialogue with the worlds of art, design, photography, publishing, and craftsmanship.

Autoportrait by Carlijn Jacobs
Autoportrait by Carlijn Jacobs, created for Acne Paper’s anniversary issue, brings together works exploring self-portraiture through performance, movement and the body. Featuring Lulu Tenney, the series reflects a central question: what could be more immediate than becoming the artwork itself? Photography becomes a site of live creation, dissolving distinctions between artist, subject and image in a study of freedom, transformation and reflecting the experimentation and creative independence that define Acne Studios.
